Hon’ble Chief Minister C. N. Annadurai presented the revised budget for 1967-68. “The Interim Budget has now been recast, so as to provide, within the resources available, for the new programmes and policies, to the implementation of which the present Government attach importance. In framing the budget so as to subserve the objectives of the present Government, we have obviously had to take note of the limitations under which the State Governments have to function in our federal set up.”
